摘要
磁性活性炭(MAC)是解决使用后活性炭回收难题的关键.选用太西无烟煤为原料,分别以四氧化三铁和草酸铁为添加剂,一步法制备了煤基磁性活性炭;测定了活性炭的碘值和亚甲蓝值,利用氮气吸附仪和振动样品磁强计分别表征其孔结构和磁性能,并考察了添加剂对活性炭吸附性能、孔结构及磁性能的影响.结果表明,铁系添加剂具有催化作用,对活性炭的孔结构有调控作用,使中孔率上升;添加剂的引入可增强活性炭的磁性;四氧化三铁的效能优于草酸铁,当四氧化三铁添加量为6.0%,炭化温度600℃,活化温度880℃时,活性炭比表面积、碘吸附值、比饱和磁化强度分别达到678.7m2/g,849.76mg/g,2.614emu/g.
Magnetic activated carbons(MAC)are of importance to the recovery of spent activated carbons.Coal-based magnetic activated carbons(MACs)were prepared from Taixi anthracite in the presence of Fe3O4and Fe2(C2O4)3,respectively.The adsorption property of MACs were evaluated by determining their iodine number and methylene blue number,and their pore structure and magnetic property of MACs were characterized by a nitrogen-adsorption analyzer and a vibrating sample magnetometer as well.The results show that the Fe-containing additives can enhance the magnetic performance of MACs.In the presence of additives,the pore structure of MACs intent to present a mesoporous nature.Meanwhile,effect of Fe3O4in preparation MACs is obviously stronger than that of Fe2(C2O4)3.While the amount of Fe3O4in feedstock of 6.0%,carbonization temperature of 600℃and activation temperature of 880℃,the adsorption and magnetic properties of the resulting activated carbon,including the specific surface area,iodine value and specific saturation magnetization are 678.7m2/g,849.76mg/g,2.614emu/g,respectively.
