The present situation of domestic ion exchange resin production and application were summarized, and some kinds of conventional resin as well as new-style resin which emerged in recent years were introduced; thus the development and present situation were reviewed generally. The developing trend of synthetic process and application technology of domestic ion exchange resin were discussed and the prospect was forecasted.
