摘要
普通高等院校一般在大学三、四年级面向英语专业开设口译课,但是口译课很容易变成“口语课”或“中西文化对比课”。本文试图脱离口译课程的讲授,从口译课的生源质量入手,探讨在英语教学的基础阶段如何使学生的英语基本功与口译课的要求有机衔接起来;并探讨作为专业基础课的泛读、听力、口语、综合英语等课程在培养英语基本功的同时,如何协助学生为口译课做有针对性的准备,使教师在教授高年级口译课时更得心应手。
The interpreting course usually starts in the junior and senior years, but the course tends to be "Oral English" or " Comparison between Chinese and Western Culture". For this problem, the writer turns to the levels of students who are about to take the course rather than the problems in the course to find ways out, discussing the combination between the English teaching of freshmen and sophomores and the requirements of the interpreting course. The text discusses the primary courses for the lower--grade students in college such as extensive reading, listening comprehension, oral English and integrated English, and points out that placing skills in interpreting into the teaching of the primary course would benefit the latter interpreting teaching a lot.
