摘要
辽初确立"尊孔崇儒"文教政策后,官学教育得到迅速发展,但仍不能满足各族民众的需求,而没有统一教学管理规章制度、教育内容因需而宜的私学教育在契丹社会向慕华风的历史背景下获得较大发展。私学教育模式灵活多样,既有以家庭为背景的家学教育、以庠校为依托的私塾教育,也有以私人组织为核心的讲学教育和以士人为主体的自学教育。与官学教育相比,私学教育对象面向契丹社会各族各阶层,使更多的普通民众有接受教育的机会,为儒家文化以及医学、天文等诸学在我国北方游牧地区普及、提高发挥了重要作用。
After the establishment of the policy of "respecting Confucius and Confucian School" in early Liao Dynasty,official education develops very fast.However,it still can not meet the demand of the people,who admire the education of Han nationality.This gives rise to the private schools,where there are no uni-fied regulations and the content of instruction is changed according to the need.It takes many forms such as family-centered education,private schools,lectures organized by individuals and self-taught education or-ganized by scholars.Compared with official education,private education is targeted at different nationalities and classes so that larger number of people have the chance to get educated and Confucian culture,study on medicine and astronomy spreads in the northern nomadic areas.
