摘要
随着科学技术的迅速发展,大量的新名词不断涌现,这些新名称亟需我们去翻译。译名过程中,我们应该考虑汉语的习惯和特征。音韵因素是影响汉语词汇构成的重要因素,因此,我们在译名过程中应该充分考虑到音韵对译名的影响,如果译名的声音配合得好,念起来顺口,听起来悦耳,记起来容易,那么译名就容易为汉语词汇系统所接受,译名固定化的过程就会大大缩短。
As science and technology develop rapidly, a large number of new names have been emerging constantly and these new names are waiting to be translated into Chinese. In the process of name translation, we need to take into account many factors such as the characteristics and convention of the Chinese language. Prosody, as an outstanding feature in Chinese, deserves our special attention as, if we select prosodically harmonious Chinese characters for names, the translated names may be well accepted in Chinese.
