摘要
第二次世界大战后,日本从西方学到了先进的技术和管理经验,实现了经济崛起。然而,在货币国际化方面,日本并未取得成功,进入新世纪后,甚至还出现了倒退迹象。近些年来,随着我国实力提升、外汇储备的增长,越来越多的人开始关注人民币国际化问题。本文通过对日元国际化的分析表明,外汇储备增长不是实现人民币国际化的充分条件,只有进一步提升中国经济实力、加快国际金融中心的建设才能加快推进人民币的国际化。
Japan is typically a catch-up nation which has taken good advantage of learning advanced technologies and management skills from the west to promote its own economy. However, such a success does not happen to its Yen internationalization. Nowadays, an increasing number of people begin to focus on Yuan internationalization since china has made dramatic economic progress and accumulated considerable foreign reserve in recent years. We find that the right direction to promote Yuan internationalization is to further strengthen our economy and develop the international financial center instead of simply increasing the foreign reserve.
