The SINOPEC Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Company (LPEC) after analyzing the advanced FCC technologies both inside and outside of China has developed the FDFCC-III process for increasing propylene output coupled with manufacture of clean gasoline. Pilot tests have revealed that the FDFCC-III process can dramatically reduce thermal cracking reactions and enhance catalytic cracking reactions to promote transfer of sulfur contained in the feedstock into FCC gas.
