The individual difference of anesthetics and their adjuvants in the clinical treatment has received special concern. Currently, more and more researches focus on the relationship between anesthetics and the genetic polymorphisms of transport proteins, targeted receptors and metabolic enzymes. Meanwhile, it has been found that the action of anesthetics has close connection with related genetic polymorphisms. This article presents an overview of the current research progress of pharmacogenomics of anesthetics and their adjuvants.
