Hot ductility of the Nb, Nb Ti and Nb V Ti containing steel CC (continuous cast) slabs was measured under the strain rate of 10 -3 s -1 . At higher temperature precipitate in tensiled specimen is mainly TiN. Niobium precipitation reached maximum when temperature is lowered to around 900 ℃. Vanadium precipitated at lower temperature than Ti and Nb. Three types of precipitates were found in the fractured specimens. One was the block shaped TiN particles precipitated at higher temperature. Another was the fine dynamic precipitation products precipitated at around 900 ℃, which caused remarkable ductility reduction. The third was the co existing precipitates formed by fine precipitates nucleating and growing on TiN particles. The γ→α pre eutectic transfer of the steel containing higher Nb and V was slower, which made the low ductility temperature region Ⅲ extend to lower temperature.
