摘要
文章运用转喻的域包孕理论解释英汉语主谓结构短语词汇化过程。旨在提供主谓结构短语词汇化过程合理的解释。研究发现,在主谓结构短语名词化过程中,语法化促使词汇化,其功能上的改变可以用转喻来解释,并且在其演变过程中,不但有单重转喻,还有多重转喻。
This paper attempts to make use of domain matrix in metonymy to interpret the lexicalization of S ＋ V phrase in both English and Chinese. By resorting to corpus data and focusing on the nominalisation of S ＋ V phrase ,the paper tries to provide a reasonable interpretation of the lexicalization of S ＋ V phrase. It finds that during the nominalisation of S ＋ V phase , its grammaticalization helps the lexicalization and the metonymy can explain the shift of its function, and there are not only single, but also double metonymy and triple metonymy.
