摘要
The techniques for automatic generation of CAD interface for process planning are investigated. This paper proposes an approach of determining the optimal rectangular stock for a prismatic part, and then grows the CAD module backwardly to its stock. It also presents some of the work done in implementing a powerful machining planning as a functional part of an open architecture system for process planning called OSCAP.
