摘要
词块教学法认为,语言是语法化的词汇,而不是词汇化的语法,在自然语言中大量存在的整体存储、直接提取的词块是构成语言的基础,语言应用能力的提高是通过扩大学习者的词块来实现的。在词块理论的指导下,作者进行了词块法的试验教学,通过增强词块意识的具体措施和产出性训练,引导学生辨认、学习、积累和使用语块。定量分析结果表明,词块法可以帮助学生提高英语写作水平,词块能力与写作能力之间具有显著的正相关性。
Lexical Approach holds that language consists of grammaticalised lexis, not lexicalized grammar. The pervasive prefabricated lexical chunks in natural language are stored and easily retrieved whole from the memory. And Lexical Approach concentrates on developing learners' proficiency by means of lexis-type activities. The paper centers on the practices of Lexical Approach to the development of Chinese college students' writing proficiency through the chunk-awareness raising activities and the productivity training methods. The quantitative analysis results reveal that Lexical Approach improves students' writing proficiency effectively and lexical chunks have positive correlation with students' writing proficiency.
