摘要
4D-8PSK-TCM是一种应用于地球卫星探测的高效率编码调制技术,在提高频带效率的基础上,仍然能获得较好的编码增益。本文介绍了基于Matlab Simulink建立4D-8PSK-TCM的仿真模型,仿真了系统在不同量化比特情况下的误码性能曲线,分析得出了系统FPGA实现的最佳量化方案。
Four-Dimensional 8PSK trellis-coded modulation (4D-8PSK-TCM) is a high efficient modulation technique used in the Earth Exploration Satellite Service (EESS). Its advantage is that coding gains can be achieved without expanding the bandwidth relative to the un-coded signal set. In Ibis paper, how to build the 4D-8PSK-TCM's simulation model on Matlab Simulink is presented. And then. the bit error rate (BER) performance of 4D-8PSK-TCM with several different quantification parameters is simulated. Analyzing the BER performance curves, quantification solution is chosen for the best trade-off between performance and complexity for the system's FPGA implementation.
