摘要
宋朝是中国古代海外贸易发展的重要时期,明州是宋朝重要的对外贸易港口之一。海外贸易的发展使明州从一个相对落后的地区发展成为宋代重要的地方经济区域中心,对当地的政治生活产生了较大影响,促使宋政府设立专门的管理机构——市舶司,并对市舶司官员的考核进行了严格规定,同时经济发展使商人地位得到提高,商人可入仕为官。此外,海外贸易的发展还对明州的社会生活产生了重要的影响。
Mingzhou was one of the key ports open to the outside world in the Song Dynasty, an important period characterized by the rapid development of foreign trade in ancient China. Its rapid development in foreign trade transformed it into an important economic regional center which exerted fairly great influence on its local political life though it was relatively underdeveloped previously. Consequently, the Song government established a special administration department called ＂the City Council Trade Department＂and assessed its officials＇ work strictly. Business people could become officials as a result of their higher social status. In addition, the development of foreign trade also exerted much influence on Mingzhou＇s social life.
