本文认为,作为我国著名的民族学家与民族史学家,马长寿先生的学术活动始终与边政问题密切相关。他特别强调民族学、人类学的理论和方法在边政实践中的地位与作用,并自觉地将学术研究与边政问题结合起来,以自己一生的学术实践活动为后人留下了一笔宝贵的财富。
As a renowned ethnologist and a historian on Minority ethnic groups,Mr.Ma Changshou's academic activities always related to the problem of borderland administration.He emphasized the application of theories and methodologies of ethnology and anthropology in the practice of borderland administration.
