Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted from larch particleboard under different hot-pressing conditions were studied in this paper. The VOCs collection chamber, portable VOC gas monitor and gas chromatography-mass spectrometer were used to analyze VOCs components and quantities. The results show that hot-pressing temperature and time influenced the concentration and emission rate of VOCs significantly. The increase of hot-pressing temperature and time made the amount of VOCs enhanced and the initial emission concentration and emission rate increased. With the augment of hot-pressing temperature and time, the aromatic compounds of VOCs increased, the variety of the terpene declined and the species and relative content of ester compounds were rarely changed.
