摘要
本文从认知语言学的角度对比分析了英汉语中的关系分句,对比了英汉语中限制性关系分句的各种特征、句法作用、结构类型、可及性程度和英汉关系分句的类型,同时也对比分析了非限制性关系分句的各种特征、句法作用和位置结构,最后分析了英汉限制性关系分句和非限制性关系分句的认知理据和语义结构。这些分析有助于人们从认知语言学和类型学的角度,比较清晰地了解英汉关系分句之间的各种共性和个性。
This thesis makes a contrastive study of English and Chinese relative clauses from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. It makes contrastive analyses of various features,syntactic functions,structural types,accessibility of English and Chinese restrictive relative clauses as well as the types of English and Chinese relative clauses. Finally it comes to the analyses of cognitive motivations and semantic structures of English and Chinese restrictive and non-restrictive relative clauses. All this is expected to contribute to a better understanding of the universalities and individualities between English and Chinese relative clauses from the angle of cognitive linguistics and linguistic typology.
