Explosion is the first operation of the mining procedures in opencasting. A successful explosion is ensured by employing proper explosion parameters, which can ha determined by an explosion funnel test in a stepped deep bole. This test is more accurate, simpler and more perceptible than the others, and hence is feasible for tile explosion Parameter determination.
