摘要
介绍了地球系统科学的概念,指出了人类社会的需求和实践的需要、地球科学各分支的全面发展和系统科学提供的理论支撑、40年来空间对地观测技术和信息科学技术的突飞猛进提供的技术支持推动了地球系统科学的产生和发展,概述了地球系统科学的国内外研究进展,最后简述了未来中国地球系统科学的发展趋势.
The paper introduced the concept of earth system science, pointed out the need of mankind＇s society and the demand for practice , theories of full development of each branch of geosciences and system science, support of technology development the space-observation and information science techniques contribute to the birth and development of earth system science during more than 40 years and outlined the study state at home and abroad of earth system science in detail. Finally, it stated the development future trend of earth system science in china.
