摘要
史载张说"三登左右丞相","掌文学之任凡三十年"。所谓"三登左右丞相",并不是作了三次宰相,而是指其在开元年间作了三次左右丞相,分别是十三年十一月、十七年二月、十七年八月;张说确实作了三次宰相,即所谓"前后三秉大政",分别是睿宗景云二年正月至本年十月、玄宗先天二年九月至本年(开元元年)十二月、玄宗开元九年九月至开元十四年四月;所谓"掌文学之任凡三十年"应是从久视元年张说参预修撰《三教珠英》开始成为修书学士到开元十八年卒。
According to historical document, ZHANG Yue acted as prime minister three times and was in charge of compiling books for years. ＂Acting as prime minister three times＂ does not mean holding the post of chancellor three times hat serving as prime minister times in the period of Kaiyuan, that is, in November of the thirteenth year, in February and August of the seventeenth year of Kaiyuan. He actually held the post of chancellor three times as the document noted, which was from Juanuary to October of the second year of Ruizong Jingyun, September to December of the second year of Xuanzong Xiantian, and from September of the ninth year of Xuanzong to Apfil of the fourteenth year. ＂In charge of compiling books for thirty years＂ should be from the year Jiushi＂ Yuannian joined in Sanjiaojingzhu as a scholar to the eighteenth year when he died.
