For a better understanding and optimal use of calculation of composite price index of disease-specific costs,the article makes a new approach as well as a review, including theoretical researches, practical experiences, expertises and skills on how to design,select,and optimize calculation formulae,service items,prices and weight coefficients in differential and cost-effective therapies of different disease conditions.
