摘要
认知语言学认为句式是由概念决定的,要分析英语致使句式就要分析致使概念。而致使概念的核心是致使力,它是致使概念的决定因素,对概念的其他部分起着制约作用。因此要分析英语致使句的生成,关键是分析致使力的性质和特征。通过分析致使力的根本性质,把握语言层面上的各种句式的差异。典型的致使力决定了原型致使句的生成。
For cognitive linguistics, sentence patterns are decided by concepts. Analysis of English causal sentences should be based on analysis of causal concept whose core is causal force, deciding factor of the causal concept. As a resuit, the key to formation of English causal sentences is the analysis of properties and characteristics of causal force. Typical causal force decides formation of prototype causal sentences.
