摘要
人类社会须臾离不开数字,然而,世界上各民族对于数字语言内涵的认知与价值取向却是不同的。日本民族钟情于奇数,尤其喜欢利用奇数“三”表达种种事物,“三”在语言运用中产生的社会文化伴随意义值得研究。由于数字语言是语言的一个分支,因此,对数字语言的考察有利于深化语言研究和了解语言国的社会文化。
Number plays an important role in daily life. For different nationalities in the world, numbers represent different cultural connotations. The Japanese have long favoured odd numbers and especially like to use ＂three＂ to describe things. The associative socio-cultural meaning of ＂three＂ is worth studying. The number-related usages are part of the language and their studies will contribute to the understanding of the Japanese society and culture.
