The particle size of salt in caustic soda solution was determined correctly by an improved method. The following conclusion was obtained：the filtering gap of primary drum filtering screen and the filtering area are the key to the effect of centrifuge separating salt and caustic soda. On the basis of the abore conclusion, production tests were carried out and the salt Content in mother liquor was decreased by above 40%.
