摘要
图书馆精神一词出现在中国近现代图书馆学早年,1990年前后进行过短暂的讨论,到2005年成为理论热点。图书馆精神是图书馆人对图书馆事业的人文理想的一种认同,对于这一概念可以有不同的理解。研究与倡导图书馆精神,目的在于弘扬图书馆事业前辈们的人文理想。
The term ＂library spirit＂ appeared in the early years of modem librarianship in China. There was a brief discussion around 1990s. It became an academic hotspot in 2005. Although there are different explanations about the concept, the library spirit reflects the admission of the humanistic ideal in librarianship. The motive to call for and research on library spirit is to develop the humanistic ideal of forerunner in librarianship.
