Research progress of pathogeniety island, plasmid, pathogenic mechanisms and molecular epidemiology in salmonella was expounded, and progress of detected technologies and methods in salmonella were discussed recently. These changes had contributed to a lot to the fast credible diagnosis, prevention of salmonellosis.
