The Development of Personality under the Context of Individualism Culture and Collectivism Culture

摘要人格的形成和表现离不开其生存和发展的环境,文化通过社会化传递了潜在的假设、准则、价值观、习惯等,这些影响人们的认知、情感和习惯,影响人格的形成和发展。根据前人的研究,介绍了集体主义文化与个体主义文化中的人格及心理行为模式的差异,阐述了集体主义文化和个体主义文化对人格的影响。 Environment where one exists and lives influences the development and performance of per sonality. Culture, with its socialization, transfers underlying hypothesis,rules,values,habits and so on. These influence peoples＇ cognitions, emotions and habits. In light of the past studies, the paper introduces the differences in personalities and mental-behavior patterns under the context of collectivism culture and individualism culture. The paper discusses the influences of collectivism culture and individualism culture on the development of personality.
