摘要
Grice特殊会话含意是他的会话含意理论的核心。虽然人们在交谈时所遵守的准则可能因文化而异，但这种差异似乎并没有从根本上改变Grice的最基本的观点。如果违反准则，那么就得对特殊会话含意进行一些比同一文化语境下的特殊会话含意的推导更费心力的解释性工作。在跨文化交际中，人们的言语交际规约必然体现出各自的文化依附性，合作原则的各项准则也必然体现出不同的文化权重。文章从跨文化交际语境中的集体主义／个体主义价值取向、高／低权力距离和异域文化常识3个方面，探讨跨文化交际语境与特殊会话含意理解的关系，旨在为成功的跨文化交际提供理论与实践的启示。
H. P. Grice interpreted conversational implicature by abiding by and violating cooperative principle, Particularized conversational implicature is the core of Grice＇s theory of conversational complicature. It is possible that the maxims people follow in communicating cooperatively may vary over cultures,but these differences will not fundamentally alter the basic Gricean insight that if a person believes a maxim has been violated,it will take more work to interpreter the particularized conversational complicature, and thus Grice＇ s conversational maxims can still serve as a basic framework for interpretation of particularized conversational complicature in intercultural interaction. This paper focuses on how to interpret the particularized conversational complicature regarding collectivism/individualism, high/low power distance and common cultural knowledge so that it can help promote successful intercultural communication.
