摘要
The Chinese Academy of Sciences （CAS） Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics （LICP） has finished the development of the process for manufacture of ethylene glycol via synthesis of vinyl carbonate based on the reaction of ethylene oxide with carbon dioxide followed by trans-esterification of vinyl carbonate with methanol along with manufacture of the byproduct dimethyl carbonate. Currently this process is undergoing the pilot testing and development phase.
