Objective:To investigate the relationship between abnormal lipid metabolism and coronary artery lesion. Methods:One hundred patients were devided into the normal group, single vessel lesion group, double. At the same time the lipid components were examined and the relationship between serum lipid level and coronary artery lesions were analysed. Results:Compared with the normal group, the total eholestered (TC) and triglyceride (TG) level were not significantly elevated in the other groups.Compared with the normal group, low density lipoprotein eholesterol(LDL-C) level was not significantly elevated while but high density lipoprotein eholesterol(HDL- C) was significantly lowered in the single vessel lesion group and double vessel lesions group. In the trigle vessel lesionsgroup, the low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) level was significantly elevated, and the high density lipoprotein eholesterol (HDL-C) was significantly lowered compared with the normal group. Conclusion:The severity of coronary lesions was related with the elevation of LDL-C and the reduction HDL-C. The reduction of HDL-C was better indicator than the elevation of LDL-C.
