摘要
比较了三种常用电光晶体(LiNbO3晶体、KD*P晶体和KTP晶体)的Q开关特性,肯定了KTP晶体作为优异电光Q开关的极大潜力,同时也分析了温度变化对KTP电光Q开关透过率的影响,得出只有采用相同的两块KTP正交放置的Q开关,才能根本上补偿静态双折射,保证关门稳定性,提高激光系统的可靠性。
Compared the Q-switch characteristic of three kinds of electro-optic crystals (LiNbO3 ,KD *P and KTP) ,the potential of KTP Q-switch is confirmed. We have also analyzed the sensitivity of transmission of KTP Q-switch to temperature changes and found that the two crossed identical KTP crystals can compensate the birefringence. Furthermore, the two-element configuration can guarantee the stability of the Q-switch and increase the dependability of the lasers.
