《押沙龙,押沙龙!》中的朱迪思不是萨德本伟大蓝图中的一颗卒子,而是颠覆解构了他所坚持的男尊女卑的性别观念和白种人优于黑种人的种族主义观念的一道力量,她挣脱了作为女儿、妹妹的桎梏,勇敢地建立起了自己的家园,走完了圆满的女人的一生。
Judith in Absalom, Absalom! is not a pawn in Sutpen＇s great design but a force which deconstructs his bias on male and female and his racism. She builds her own home where she is a ＂mother＂, which is, to her, more important than being daughter and sister.
