摘要
主要分析了H.264中两种熵编码技术:CABAC和CAVLC。并对这两种编码技术在ADSP-BF537的实现和编码效率进行了对比,对比结果显示,对于不同的图象内容,CABAC的编码效率高出CAVLC的编码效率的比例不同,对于静止图象和运动量低的图象序列,CABAC优于CAVLC大概在为11%,同时CABAC的计算量要高出CAVLC 95%,而对于运动量大的图象序列,CABAC优于CAVLC大概为6%,同时CABAC的计算量要高出CAVLC 140%。
The paper discusses two methods of entropy coding in H. 264: CABAC and CAVLC, compares the coding efficiency of the too methods on ADSP-BF537, which proves that CABAC has higher coding efficiency than CAVLC, and the exact difference is due to the content of the picture. Compared with CAVLC, CABAC provides a reduction in bit rate about 11% for the picture queue with a small quantity of movement, and an increase in calculation about 95 %. When coding a picture queue with a mass of movement, CABAC provides a reduction in bit rate about 6 %, and an increase in calculation about 140 %.
