China is no longer the unique investment hot spot in the eyes of multinationals.A report of AT Kearney said,“Recent trend tells us that India is getting more attractive in terms of investment.” China itself is also changing.In the latest Eleventh Five-year Program,the strategy of “independent innovation” nearly replaces “market for technology” which has been adopted for a long time.According to analysts,this might suggest that the policy environment and actual situation for multinationals in China is likely to be revised. Confronted with the strikes coming from inside and outside,how will multinationals re-evaluate China.and how China re-defines itself?.Will China be able to find new edge in global competition before its advantages such as “world factory” gets exhausted? China Entrepreneur interviewed senior managers of multinationals such as Cisco.Google,Canon,Samsung and BenQ.We also exchanged views with many Private Equity funds across Asia Pacific as well as top analysts and consultants from HSBC,BCG,AT Kearney and BearingPoint.Besides. we payed a visit to Suzhou Industrial Park,the foreign enterprises'hot spot,in an effort to seek answers.
