摘要
无线AdHoc网络以其独特的优势引起了人们的关注,但要发挥其作用需要有效的MAC协议的支持。文章指出面向无线局域网的802.11协议不能很好地适用于具有分布式及多跳特性的无线AdHoc网络。文章论述了多信道的、发送功率控制的、节能的、开发信道分集的等各种结合物理层技术的MAC协议的最新进展,说明了其设计方法与途径,并提出了进一步可能需要研究的问题。
Designed for WLAN,The IEEE 802.11 MAC is not suitable to wireless Ad Hoc networks which is typic：any characterized by distributed and multi-hop. A comprehensive survey of MAC approaches for wireless Ad Hoc networks is presented, which is combined with physical technology. Finally we point out some future directions.
