摘要
大量收集了云南哀牢山矿区的红宝石样品,从中挑选出近30颗晶形较完整且具有代表性的晶体样品,利用反射差示干涉显微镜及环境扫描电子显微镜系统地研究了云南红宝石晶体及其表面微形貌特征。研究表明,云南红宝石晶体的底面三角形生长阶梯发育。三角形生长阶梯表面的六边形和波浪形层状生长痕迹是红宝石层状生长的重要证据,底面三角形熔蚀坑可为其提供重要的产地信息。
A number of rubies from Ailao Mountain, Yunnan Province, are collected and 30 representative samples with the developed crystal form are picked out. The surface microto-pography of the ruby crystal is studied by using the reflected differential interference microscope and environmental scanning electron microscope. The results show that the triangular growth steps on the base of the ruby are developed. Hexagonal and wave-like layered growth traces on the surface of the triangular growth steps are the important evidences of the layered growth of the ruby. The developed triangular etch pits on the base can provide the important provenance information.
