摘要
轨道交通投资大、建设周期长,短期内难以形成一定的网络规模,自然也就难以发挥其在公共客运系统中的骨干作用.近年来,在世界诸多城市BRT建设的影响下,国内许多城市又把发展大容量快速公交系统(BRT)推到了缓解城市交通拥堵的前台,纷纷开始规划和建设BRT系统.那么,如何确定BRT的功能定位?如何处理BRT与轨道交通和常规公交网络的关系?如何正确认识BRT固有的功能和技术特性,作好BRT的规划和建设?针对这些有关BRT认识上的困惑,本文进行了论述并提出了我们的观点.
Due to the large investment and long construction period, it is hard for rall transit system to form a relative large scale network in a short period so as to become the backbone of the urban public transport system. So, influenced by successful Bus Rapid Transit(BRT) lines in many big cities of the world, in recent years, a lot of domestic cities have begun to pay more and more attention to BRT. As a resuh, many BRT lines are being planned and constructed. Facing the new situation, how to identify the function orientation of BRT? How to deal with the relationships among BRT, rail transit system as well as common public transport system? How to plan and build BRT lines well with its inherent functions and technical properties'? This paper presents some rational views on these confusing questions.
