摘要
美国著名作家诺曼.梅勒在作品中大胆创新,运用多种艺术手法,用现实主义的手法创作了享誉文坛的小说:“非小说”的问世,开创了美国新闻体文学的先河;“后现代派小说”代替传统形式是其创作史上的一次戏剧性转变;以超然态度客观转述的记实小说使写作风格又发生了变化,在文坛和传媒界博得好评如潮。
This article lays emphasis on Norman Maile（s marvelously creative and multiple artistic techniques and writing styles. Mailer employed different artistic techniques and writing styles in different works. Realism, nonfiction, post-modernism, etc. can all be found in his works and those works are highly praised. Mailer used the power of imagination and poetical and subtle language to create his common images and left the readers the artistic works full of characters of blood and flesh.
