摘要
通过对明代社会经济及科技发展概况的分析，探讨了程大位《算法统宗》的历史成因；通过与众多数学典籍的比较，探讨了《算法统宗》的内容特，点及其社会应用价值；首次较为系统地探讨了该书在理论与应用上的创新；进一步探讨了《算法统宗》的传播情况及其在国内外产生的影响。
The historical background of the formation,characteristics and social distribution of ChengDawei's' Calculation Orthodox'are discoussed to make a systematic study on its renovations. Its pub-licity and influeuce both at home and abroad are also stated.
