摘要
研究了高功率回旋管振荡器在外信号作用下输出微波的频率及相位的受控问题,文中导出了回旋管锁相过程的非线性微分方程,对实现锁相的条件及锁相过程特性作了分析,外信号可在回旋管起振进入饱和后引入,也可在起振前引入,这两种不同的引入信号方式对锁相过程的作用有较大的区别,文中对此作了讨论,并对回旋管的TE_13场模进行了锁相过程的数值计算和分析。
AbstractThe phase--locking process is studied for high power gyrotron oscillator driven by anexternal signal.Using the self-consistent nonlinear theory,the phase-locking differentialEqs.(20)and(21) for the time-dependent phase and amplitude are derived. Consideringthe Lorentz force equation(26) and the energy equation (27),the time-dependent processof wave can be solved through coupling functions(22)and(23).The phase-lockingcondition is shown in Eq.(37).Obviously,it is decided by the relation betweenphase-locking signal parameters(ω_0,P_1)and gyrotron operating parameters(ω_f,P_s,Q)that whether the gyrotron can realize phase-locking.The Fig. 1 is calculated with firstgroup parameter in Table 1. Knowing from it, for the definite P_1, if the phase-lockingfrequency ω_0 deviate from the gyrotron free-runing frequency ω_f too far to satisfy thecondition of Eq.(37),the phase-locking will be not realized,in the Fig.1).The gyrotron can be injected phase-locking signal after gyrotron oscillating into saturationor before it.Analysis shows,due to the intense tractive effect of the phase-locking signalon gyrotron oscillation,it will be benefical to the realization of phase-locking state toinject the phase-locking signal before gyrotron oscillating. About the time to realizephase-locking under the condition of Eq.(37),following conclusions are obtained:(1)For the gyrotron which oscillate into saturation,if the more higher given signalpower P_1 is,the more faster the phase-locking velocity will be,the more shorter the timeto realize phase-locking will be.(2) For the definite P_1 and P_s,if the free-runing frequencyω_f of gyrotron is higher,the phase-locking signal frequency ω_o have to be rised to satisfy the phase-lockingcondition. Knowing from the Eq.(31),rised ω_o will make the phase-locking velocitybe faster,the time of realizing phase-locking be shorter, it is shown in Fig.2 for thesecond group parameter in Table 1. (3)Using the way that the phase-locking signal is injected before gyrotron oscillating,the phase-locking can be realized in a very short time,this case is shown by Fig.3.Thisway has a greater traction for short-pulse power oscillator.
