摘要
论文标题的英译研究在期刊编辑实践中有一定的实用价值。从大的方面来看,该研究有助于论文以及刊物本身的进一步规范化,有助于刊物整体质量和其知名度的提高;从小的方面来讲,既有助于编辑者本人专业水准的提高,更有益于编辑者自身的工作实践。本文以较多典型译例为基础,较详细地分析和阐述了论文标题题式英译的37种处理方式。
The study of the English translation of titles in the editing practice is of practical value. On the one hand, it can help both articles and periodicals to improve their level of standardization,and can also help to raise the quality and famousness of periodicals. On the other hand, the study can help editors to enhance their speciality quality, and is more beneficial to their editing-work practice. Based on typical English versions of titles, the present paper elaborately analyses and summorizes 37 kinds of treatment methods of English translation of title paradigms.
