摘要 聚乙烯醇(PVA)是较少的可溶于水并被生物降解的乙烯聚合物之一。研究表明,在受PVA污染的自然环境中存在着能降解PVA的微生物,并从中提取出了PVA降解酶。介绍了国内外研究聚乙烯醇生物降解的情况。分别讨论了聚乙烯醇被单一菌种、共生细菌和真菌降解过程中的生物化学和生理学特性,以及结构因素对聚乙烯醇生物降解的影响。这些研究促进了可有效生物降解的PVA类材料产品项目的发展。 Poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) is recognized as one of the very few vinyl polymers soluble in water also susceptible of ultimate biodegradation by microorganisms. It was indicated that the microorganisms capable of assimilating PVA as their sole carbon source could be isolated from textile mill sewage sludge, and the PVA degrading enzymatic system was also isolated from it. Accordingly, increasing attention is devoted to the preparation of environmentally compatible PVA-based materials for a wide range of applications. It aimed at providing a survey of the available information on biodegradation of PVA. It was discussed about the biochemistry and microbial physiology of PVA biodegradation by single bacterial strains, symbiotic bacterial strains and fungi, and also the effect of structural features on biodegradation of poly (vinyl alcohol) . These investigations may accelerate the development of programs on the production of effectively biodegradable PVA-based materials.
