A Channel Estimation Method Based on Pilot for MB-OFDM Systems

摘要 联合信道估计算法以LS(最小二乘)信道估计为基础,并利用MB-OFDM的UWB信道的时域长度特性,最大限度地减少噪声的影响,提高信道估计的精度;然后与数据符号中的导频信号联合估计,跟踪信道的变化,进一步提高信道估计的性能。通过性能仿真,比较LS估计和基于DFT(离散傅立叶变换)的信道估计的系统误码率,结果表明,采用本文的信道估计方法的系统性能有一定程度的改善。 <Abstrcat> Based on the UWB channel in the MB-OFDM system, a novel channel estimation method is proposed. This method exploits the character of the channel's length to diminish the effect of the AWGN, and then, it combines the result with the pilots in the data symbols to scout the change of the channel to enhance precision of the channel estimation. Finally, we have compared the performance of the method with LS and DFT channel estimation method by measuring their bit error rate in the system, and the simulation result indicates that the proposal method can improve the system performance.
