介绍了几年来获美国铸造学会最高奖的ADI铸件。从获奖ADI铸件看出ADI从初期取代单件的铸钢件、锻钢件,到逐渐取代复杂的铸钢件、锻钢件、焊接件等装配而成的组装件。ADI的高强度、高韧性、高疲劳强度及优越的耐磨性为设计工程师提供了更具潜力的铸件材料。
AFS ADI award-winning components are described. From the best-in-class ADI components it is clear that ADI replaced steel castings and forgings at early stage and are now more converted fabrications. The high strength, high toughness, high fatigue strength, and unique wear resistance ADI offer design engineer great potential for casting design.
