摘要
文章综述了容器苗生产和研究的现状。为克服根系畸形,改进苗木生理品质,先后采用了改变容器形状、空气断根、化学断根和改变苗型等措施;控制光周期、改变施肥方式和减少化学制剂应用的研究正在发展和应用;基质的生产也开始商品化。容器苗生产先进国家已形成一套从种子处理、苗木培育到造林的科学体系。并针对我国情况,提出了发展容器苗生产的建议。
Abstract In order to fast and economically raise quality seedlings to meet the need forestablishing high quality plantations , the countries around the world in various climatezones all attach importance to research and production of container seedlings. In Canadaand countries of North Europe at high altitudes, the production of such seedlings hasbecome the main tThe of seedling raising , and the annual production reaches 80-90% ofall types of seedlings. In recent score years , the research on container seedlings focusedon overcoming the abnormal root systems. It has an evolved through varinus stages,such as changing the form of containers , aerially breaking and chemically breaking ofroots. Now MPT type seedlings are substitued for the P+1 ones , with the root systemapproaching nearer that in natural state. To promote the economic benefits and phys-iological quality of seedlings , researches on and application of these seedlings throuth in-duced dormancy under short day length and fertilization at the stage of bud differentia-tion and post differentiation have been made. In advanced countries a system of con-tainer seedling raising has evolved , containing seed treatment , sowing , cultivation andtransplantation, etc. The substrate production has begun to be commercialized.Although in 1960s seedlings had been raised in sunple containers, yet such type ofseedling raising was not well developed. Consequently, no development research withregional characteristics was made ; the nursery practice lagged far behind the world lev-el. Hereafterwards , extensive integrated researches must be made according to a set ofprograms. Such seedlings should be the main type used in alpine and arid regions.
