ON THE STRESS CONCENTRATION CAUSED BY A BROKEN FIBRE IN UNIDIRECTIONAL FIBRE REINFORCED PLASTICS

摘要 本文采用剪切滞后理论,对单向铺设的纤维增强复合材料中,纤维根数有限时纤维断裂所引起的局部应力集中进行研究,确证了以往研究中假定纤维无限根的可行性,并定量展示了在断裂纤维和邻近纤维中的应力重分布。 In this paper, it presents an investigation of the local stress concentration of an unidirectional fibre-reinforced plastics caused by a broken fibre, by the use of the shear-lag theory, on the assumption that the total number of fiber is finite. At the same time, it also verifies the trustworthiness of the traditional hypothesis that the number of fibers is infinite and gives a quantitative display of the stress redistribution along the broken fiber in the plastics.
