根据板块构造理论,强调已知大地构造演化阶段岩石建造-构造地质体现时的综合结果,突出重要大地构造演化阶段的原则,广西归属1~8级大地构造单元,属欧亚板块(1级)、华南陆壳板段(2级)、中新生代南华褶皱系(中新生代南华造山带──双向陆上造山带,3级)的一部分。南华褶皱系广西部分可分成3个4级大地构造单元,广西基本大地构造单元,云开大陆边缘弧褶皱带、桂东北弧后陆内褶皱-冲断带和右江弧后盆地褶皱带。讨论了大地构造单元划分原则.
According to plate tectonic theory and principles emphasizing the present synthetic result of geological bodies of rock formation-structure in the known tectonic evolution stages and the important tectonic evolution stage, Guangxi belongs to tectonic units of 1-8 orders. Guangxi is a part of the Meso-Cenozoic Nanhua (South Cathay) fold system (Nanhua Orogenic Belt-bidirectional subaerial orogenes) (111-order),the continental crust segment of South China (11-order), the Eurasia Plate (1-order).The Guangxi part of the Nanhua folding system can be divided into three 1V-order tectonic units, Guangxi basic tectonic units, a Yunkai continental marginal arc folding belt, a Guidongbei (Northeast Guangxi) back-arc intracontinental folding-thrust belt and a Youjiang back-arc basin folding belt. A general idea of the Guangxi tectonic evolution is concisely introduced. Division principles of tectonic units are briefly discussed.
