摘要
在进行中、印经济发展模式对比中最重要的问题是印度模式是否比中国模式更具借鉴意义。印度模式更强调软件基础设施建设，而软件基础设施会产生长期发展的动力，因而印度模式对中国是有借鉴意义的。如果中国改变过于注重对硬件基础设施投资的做法，而同时在软、硬件基础设施上投资，印度将很难超过中国。
The argument in this article is that India enjoys substantial advantages in terms of soft infrastructures over China andthese advantages are the sources of some of India's remarkable progress both micro-economically and macro-economi-cally.China can learn valuable lessons from India's strengths in soft infrastructures.Should China improve its soft infra-structures,given its overall advantages over India,it will be difficult for India to overtake China.
