摘要
西班牙和葡萄牙在对拉丁美洲实行的数百年殖民统治中所建立的殖民制度 ,包括重商主义制度、大庄园和种植园奴隶制、社会等级制度和种族制度、中央集权的君主专制制度、宗教制度等 ,对拉丁美洲的社会政治和经济发展产生了重要和深远的影响。拉丁美洲各国独立后 ,这一制度的负面影响并未根除 。
The colonial system (including mercantilism, the slave system in manors and plantations, social hierarchies, racism, and autocratic monarchies) practiced during Spanish and Portuguese colonial rule had an important and far reaching influence on the political, social and economic development of Latin America. Since various Latin America countries became independent, the negative influences of this system have not been totally eliminated and are the source of the comparative under development of the Latin American countries and a hindrance to their modernization.
