摘要
本文就近年学界所关心的福州浦西福寿宫明教文佛祖殿的宗教属性问题,在已披露的文献和田野调查资料的基础上,进行综合考察。文章不同意学者把明教文佛祖殿定性为摩尼教遗址,而认为明教文佛崇拜是一种地方民间信仰,其创立者并非摩尼教的传人。不过,在创立这种信仰时,不排除受到当地历史上曾盛行过的摩尼教之影响。
Based on records published in recent years and materials found in the field work, this paper attempts to discuss the religious attribute of the temple of “Mingjiao Wenfo” (the Wen Buddha of the Mingjiao) at Puxi of Fuzhou city. It argues that there is no reason to take the temple as a relic of Manicheism. Further more, it concludes that worship of the Wen Buddha of Mingjiao is actually a kind of popular religion, for the founder of the cult was not a believer of Manichaeism. However, when the cult came into being, probably its founder was influenced by Manichaeism that once prevailed in the city.
